Groundbreak Flagstaff Asphalt Paving started in 2018 with a simple idea: Flagstaff deserves a paving contractor that actually understands what this climate does to asphalt. At 7,000 feet, with over 100 inches of snow most winters and a monsoon season that tests every drainage system on the street, a driveway or parking lot built to Phoenix specifications will not last here.
We are a locally owned business based right here in Flagstaff. We know the volcanic soil under this town, the short warm-weather windows that govern when paving work can be done, and the neighborhoods - from the older streets near downtown to the newer subdivisions spreading east toward the airport. We have worked on driveways in the shadow of the San Francisco Peaks and on commercial lots along the Route 66 corridor.
